Camp Robinson Crusoe in Maine

From the summer of 1930 through 1932, the camp was located on a small island in Casco Bay, Maine. Called "Robinson Crusoe Island", it gave the camp its name. Ditte Frederiksen McNeil, who has many of founder Josh Lieberman's photo albums, scanned these pictures from one of those summers.

In 1932, Josh was able to buy the land in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, which became the camp's permanent home.
